U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, released the following statement today after the Senate Finance Committee approved the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), advancing the trade deal closer to a vote on the Senate floor:
"I am pleased the Senate Finance Committee has taken this action to bring USMCA closer to the Senate floor for a vote. This modern trade deal is good for Nebraska families, agriculture, manufacturing, and businesses. Let's bring economic certainty to the Good Life and get this done."
